You enter the Baby Bear from one of three entrances, and walk down
the mountain laurel steps into the great room. You will enjoy its
massive stone fireplace, big screen Satellite TV with premium movie
channels, and a large sectional sofa with two pop up loungers. There
is also an antique pub table, a professional air hockey table,
kitchen with bar and 4 inch thick log top bar stools.
In the corner is a log bunk bed with double bed on the bottom and
single on the top. The Baby Bear is a very special place. Walking
out through the double French doors, you enter a private porch with
a double swing and stainless steel barbeque grill.
Leading from the great room you enter a 17x25 master bedroom suite
with a walk-in closet. The suite showcases a sitting area with a
hand-carved French leather sofa and two matching chairs. Recessed in
the opposite end is a hand-hewn log bed with an upward sloping
ceiling framed on top with a poplar log. Across the room is a
matching log dresser and a log-outlined mirror.
The bath has a ceramic tiled floor, hand made cypress cabinets,
double sinks and brass shower. As you exit the master bedroom suite,
you'll walk through double French doors and head toward the Bear
Lake Lodge dock on Saluda Mountain Lake. Be sure to check out our
